Newell Recycling will be holding its 7th Annual Community Day, April 26th, 11am to 2pm.

There will be free food, games, and Enterntainment for all ages. The following organizations will be participating in this years event: Colgate, East Point Fire Department, South Fulton Habitat for Humanity, and the Fulton County Safe Kids Coalition.

There will be Fun and Education in Recycling for the entire family.

The rain date is 5/3/08 from 11am to 2pm.

Per the Social Committee, the following events have been added to the Egan Park Event Calendar:

March 15 - Neighborhood Cleanup
March 22 - Easter Egg Hunt
April 26 - Spring Fling BBQ/Block Party
June 7 - Egan Park Wine Crawl
July - Braves Game
August - Fox Theatre
October 25 - Halloween Party
December 13 - Holiday Progressive Party

All events, except for the Easter Egg Hunt, have approximate times (TBD), and the July and August events were set to the 1st of that month, since they are TBD as well.

Social Committee forum - a new forum has been created for the Social Committee, to hopefully aid them in the planning of Egan Park's events. It is a private forum, and you must be logged into the site to view and create new threads.

It looks like a lot of fun events are in the works for Egan Park this year!

Its time for the second annual Easter Egg Hunt in Egan Park. Its scheduled for March 31st from 11AM to 1PM. Bring a picnic lunch and have fun.

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt ,a surprise guest (The Easter Bunny) with photo opportunity, and a chance to mingle with friends and family. (asking for a donation that goes to the neighborhood association for the photo op.)

In preparation for this, we're asking for people to donate wrapped candy (no melting chocolate) or small donations are welcome. Angela Rogers is the point person for candy. You can either drop off at Angela's house or at Matt and Molly's.

If you plan to attend and bring children, please RSVP so that we can ensure that we have an adequate number of Easter Eggs.
