Greetings Village of Egan Park Developer,

The Egan Park Building Committee encourages and promotes quality design(s) that are appropriate and related to the setting/established character of the surrounding neighborhood. To accomplish this, the Egan Park building committee will review all aspects of a proposed home (i.e. outside appearance, neighborhood compatibility, etc…) before submitting a neighborhood comment form to the City of East Point.

Our mission is to provide long- range strategic planning and feedback on new neighborhood construction. In addition, we oversee new neighborhood construction (a dream of ours), remodeling/renovation projects (long-term), and look to preserve the "magic" (mystique) that makes Egan Park special to us all.

This mission will be carried out by building committee members working under the direction of the Building Committee Chair to incorporate solicited/unsolicited committee member feedback for the betterment of the Egan Park community.

The attached sheet below has been prepared to assist the developer(s)/contractor(s) and the Building Committee in determining the neighborhood compatibility in conformance with the neighborhoods plan. The features and development patterns that are identified in the attached sheet will often accurately describe the basic qualities of our neighborhood and guide the developer(s)/contractor(s) to a compatible design. They also represent characteristics of our neighborhood that the Building Committee will consider when they evaluate a design for neighborhood compatibility.
