I have checked this out

I have checked this out before. I'd be willing to go in on a share with someone(s). Even a half share seems too much for one person, plus some of the things I just don't like.

My family owns a half share

My family owns a half share and we pick up our fresh vegetables every Wednesday. We have been very pleased with the produce and its neat taking the kids to the farm to watch our vegetables grow.

Makara, do you have to own a share in order to get produce? Can we just purchase produce from the farm?

If you don't want to pick and just do some shopping, there are a couple of Saturday markets nearby:

Fairburn market has organic growers with local musicians performing at the Saturday market.

Paul, you do have to own a share in order to get produce. With all CSA (Community Shared Agriculture) you have to purchase a share in order to get produce. There are several different ones in the Atlanta Metro Area. It's worth doing a little bit of research to find which one best meets the needs of your family. I am actually looking for one that has fruit as well as vegetables. Some even provide eggs and milk.
