The next general meeting regarding our proposed charter school, Main Street Academy, will be open to the public and is scheduled for Thursday, April 19th at 7 pm. It will be held at the College Park First United Methodist Church which is located behind the College Park MARTA station. I encourage you to attend the organizational meeting if you are even a little interested in having a charter school in our area. The main topic of discussion will be a big one--the model and curriculum of the school (ie: international school, technology, performing arts, etc).
